Leukaemia Research is the only national charity devoted exclusively to improving treatments, finding cures and learning how to prevent all blood cancers - leukaemia, Hodgkin’s and other lymphomas, myeloma and related disorders.

More than 1 in 25 people – that’s one person in every school class – will develop leukaemia or other blood cancer disorders in their lifetime. And despite many successes, over 11,000 people currently die of blood cancers every year in the UK.

Over the years Leukaemia Research has had an impact on the lives of over 1 million people, saving lives and improving treatments and quality of life of patients. But many more need help now.

The organisation needs to raise more than £100 million over the next five years for groundbreaking research to benefit children and adults with leukaemia or other blood cancers. Supporting doctors and scientists at hospitals and academic institutions throughout the country, Leukaemia Research funds a wide range of projects, from laboratory research to clinical trials with patients.

Leukaemia Research receives no government grants and depends entirely on voluntary donations. If you would like to make a donation  please visit the charity’s website.
