Children’s hospice services exist to help children who will not live to reach adulthood - and their families - with the emotional and physical challenges they face, and make the most of life.
They welcome the whole family for a break together or time to themselves in a home-from-home environment - or offer care in the family's own home. They provide a diverse range of services including children's palliative care, specialist respite care, terminal and emergency care, 24 hour telephone support, practical help, advice and information and bereavement support for all family members. Children's hospice care is child and family centred, and always tailored to meet individual needs and wishes.
The Association of Children's Hospices is a national charity working on behalf of all children's hospices in the UK and the children and families they care for. Children's hospices rely overwhelmingly upon public generosity to maintain these vital services.
If you want to donate direct to the charity then why not visit the Association of Children’s Hospices website and give more.
